The Icicle Races are a pursuit style, fixed mark, 8.6 nautical mile course around Galveston Bay. Your start time is determined by your PHRF rating. See the race instructions for start times and additional details if you need a provisional rating to get started.  The PHRF spinnaker, PHRF nonspinnaker, and shorthanded classes DO NOT need to register. Only those in the Cruising (Club Handicap) class need to register so we can adjust times from race to race, per the race instructions. Bring your crew to the post race awards at the GBCA Clubhouse at Watergate. You don't have to be a GBCA member to enjoy the fun. This event is FREE
